Jesús Amaya is an emerging artist from Guadalupe Victoria, Chiapas.
Jesús Amaya was born in 1993 in Guadalupe Victoria in the municipality of Ocozocoautla, Chiapas.
In Guadalupe Victoria he completed his elementary and junior high studies, at an early age his attraction to art was born, drawing all the time, mainly on walls. Upon entering high school, he began to build technique by experimenting with different materials and surfaces, painting on leaves of trees, stones, trunks and walls of his house, walls that still retain that imprint of time. Very soon and thanks to the impulse and support of his parents, aware of his aptitudes, Jesus began to study formally with professor Juan Carlos Méndez at the Casa de Cultura de Ocozocoautla.
Jesus and his family emigrated to the state capital when he was 16 years old. It was there, in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, where he began his high school studies, his training and artistic production. At this stage of his life he participates in various intercollegiate competitions winning awards and recognitions, which won him the support of professors and directors of the high school. With the support and direction of maestro Heleasen, from CONECULTA Chiapas, Jesus began to experiment with oil. At the time of his high school studies Jesús Amaya was invited to participate in art competitions, not as a painter but as a jury, an event that was undoubtedly crucial and motivating for his career choice. In 2012 he began his professional studies at the Universidad de Ciencias y Artes de Chiapas, in the degree of Visual Arts, of which he is still a student. Currently speaking of Jesús Amaya, is talking about a young artist with outstanding technical skills, with an ideological style and depth always in development and experimentation.

Currently I produce surreal works based on cuts and models that I do myself, my style is own and imaginary, born of a natural creation.
I like to talk about the problem in the routine and its various factors that automate the meaning of a job in everyday life, which results in a constant activity to the extent that it becomes mechanized.
Capturing people in their daily activities, moves me to a pictorial game with photography and transmutes it into cartoons, with the intention of exposing “routine” as an activity that has a reason and a purpose that arises from the need to Own.
